Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has fired the State Secretary of the Government (SSG), the Chief of Staff and all the state commissioners.

 

 

This followed the immediate dissolution of the State Executive Council (SEC) as set out in a press release signed by the Governor’s Special Advisor on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Ggido.

 

 

According to the Governor’s press aide, the dissolution also affected all Special Advisers, except the Special Security Adviser; Special Advisor Liaison with the National and State Assembly; Special Advisor for Social Investment and Special Advisor for Media and Advertising.

 

 

“His Excellency, the Executive Governor of the State Senator of Bauchi Bala A. Mohammed CON (Kauran Bauchi) has approved with immediate effect the dissolution of the members of the State Executive Council and other political appointments including the Secretary of the State Government ( SSG), the Chief of Staff (COS) of the Government House ”, stated Ggido.

 

 

He added that all commissioners must transfer the affairs of their ministries to their respective Permanent Secretaries, “while the Secretary of State Government (SSG), the Chief of Cabinet (COS) of the Government

 

 

House and other affected Special Advisers must transfer to the highest-ranking permanent secretary in the Government House, who is also in charge of making an inventory of government assets. ”

Ggido further stated that Governor Mohammed wished the affected appointees the best in their future endeavors.
