(NYSC) Commenced Pre-mobilisation Exercise For The 2021

NYSC COMMENCES 2021 BATCH C CORPS MEMBERS

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has begun the pre-mobilization exercise for potential 2021 Lot C corps members.

NYSC CEO Brig. General Shuaibu Ibrahim, at the beginning of the exercise, reiterated that the relevance of the scheme is indisputable. He said ongoing reforms in the mobilization process and other aspects of his operations were in line with his quest to maintain the relevance of the scheme.

Speaking on the topic, “Enhancing Stakeholder Roles for a Credible Mobilization Process,” he said the NYSC had faced challenges of late, brought on by the introduction of unqualified graduates for national service given the determination of the Schemes to eliminate all forms of practices.

“I am pleased to see that there have been notable improvements in data integrity. In fact, the renewed dedication of Data Entry and Student Affairs Officers at various Corps Production Institutions has been quite encouraging.

“However, despite past successes, few acts of commission and omission are still noted. Therefore, we will not hesitate to apply the necessary sanctions to institutions and/or officials that make mistakes so that they serve as a deterrent to others.

While Management remains deeply committed to the success of the Mobilization process, we expect other stakeholders to live transparently in the performance of their responsibilities.
