Reliance JioBook specs dripped before launch
The Reliance JioBook has been in the news for a long time. Earlier this year, reports indicated that Reliance Jio would launch its first laptop with the JioPhone Next smartphone during the company’s annual rally or general meeting. But that didn’t happen. Now the first Reliance Jio laptop has been spotted on Geekbench, which has reignited rumors of its launch.
There are reports that three Reliance JioBook models have passed the BIS Certification Authority. These models includes NB1118QMW NB1112MM, NB1148QMW, Now the JioBook NB1112MM model number has appeared on Geekbench, revealing the key specifications of the JioBook laptop before its release. The Geekbench listing shows that the upcoming JioBook laptop scored 1178 in the single-core test and 4246 in the multi-core test.
Testing aside, the Geekbench listing shows that the JioBook laptop is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT8788 SoC paired with 2GB of RAM. This detail contrasts with much older reports suggesting the JioBook laptop will be available with Qualcomm Snapdragon, which comes with 2GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, and 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage options combined. In addition to processing and storage functions, the JioBook laptop is expected to run Android 11 out of the box with its own JioOS skin top.
In extension, information about JioBook laptops is currently scarce. However, old reports suggest that the JioBook notebook screen will be available with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
