Tiger Woods was rushed to the hospital after he was injured in a car accident in Los Angeles, police said.
The golf star had to be cut from the vehicle by firefighters and paramedics following the accident at the Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes border on Tuesday morning.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said: “The driver and sole occupant were identified as PGA golfer Eldrick ‘Tiger’ Woods.
“Mr. Woods was rescued from the shipwreck with the ‘jaws of life’ by Los Angeles County firefighters and paramedics, and then taken to a local hospital by ambulance for his injuries.”
