Famous Nigerian radio personality, television host, vlogger, lifestyle entrepreneur, and author Toke Makinwa who is known for hosting The Morning Drive on Rhythm 93.7 FM and for her YouTube vlog series Toke Moments.

Toke Makinwa stated that obsession with the Internet has influenced this generation to the point that they no longer recognize boundaries, Toke Makinwa suggested that people should call their friends on the phone and not publicly chat on social media.

Toke said: “If someday there is a scandal around me and I consider you a friend, not an industry employee, but a friend, you better not do opinion polls or analyze on social media this generation is so obsessed with the Internet that we no longer know boundaries. If you are my friend, we are winning together, we are losing together, we are together, and now is the period.

“You have my number, use it as a friend. Stop giving advice to your so-called social media friends, you look like a joke we may disagree in private, berate ourselves behind closed doors, but not share our thoughts about my life with your community. This is a bird.

While the media personality hasn’t mentioned who or what she meant, it’s pertinent to note that her post came days after some celebrities voiced their thoughts over the s*x tape scandal involving singer Tiva Savage.

However, Toke added that when the singer’s alleged s*x tape went online, (Tiwa Savage) other celebrities and fans took to social media to comment on the scandal, while some shared their support and enthusiasm for the s*x tape, others scolded the singer for doing so.
